Everyday Reboot #31 – September Update

Just a quick one. The irony of writing yesterdays Reboot about keeping to deadlines, when I am in the middle of a time crisis has not been lost on me.

It’s September 1st, where has the time gone? It only seems like yesterday that I launched my website and this blog. On the 1st of each month, I am looking to turn Everyday Reboot into a bit of a catch-up session, where I update you on what is coming.

I have an interview for a part-time position next week, be great if I can get the job, it will give me a financial foundation to be able to continue to be able to concentrate on my writings for both myself and Chasing The Puck. So, wish me luck and if you can keep your fingers crossed for next week that would be most appreciated.

Speaking of Chasing The Puck, Manchester Storm are currently in their preseason calendar of the season. I will continue to write up match reports for Chasing The Puck this month. The season starts for real, next week on the 7th. Manchester Storm play against the Dundee Stars, to say that I am looking forward to it would be an understatement.

I am also finishing the first draft of a short story that I aim to enter into a competition. The deadline for the competition is the 20th of September. I am impressed with my concept, I just need to work on the execution. I will tell you more about that when I can.

My good friend at Short Lane Studio, TJ said that I should do a fave 5 portion of Everyday Reboot. I agree, so Friday, will from now on be Fave Five Friday, where I write about my 5 favourite… movies or games, or whatever I can think of that week.

Also, I should say that TJ has started cataloguing the Everyday Reboots in a weekly post on the Short Lane Studio website. Hopefully, it will drive more traffic here. If you’re here because of TJ, thank you and welcome.

I am sorry that this has been a short blog, but I have to dash, I am back travelling to Altrincham this evening to cover the Manchester Storm.
